Roses For Health:

Most of us didn't even knows the benefits of roses for health.People knows only cosmetic use of gulab jal but only few people knows about Gulkand made up of gulab and its medicinal properrties.
Gulkand made up of gulab petals is good for constipation and other stomatch problems.

  1. Now we see the method of making of Gulkand:
 
  • Take 1/2 kg gulb petals,wash cleanly with water,dry them out with a cotton cloth and rest them for 5-6 hours.

  • After that take 1/2kg. of sugar.
  • Take all the rose petals in a big plate take 200grms of sugar and by taking sugar and petals inbetween palms of hand crush it.Because of sugar rose petals crush easily.
  • Then take clean and dry glass jar place one layer of crushed petals and then place over it other layer of sugar then crushed petals of rose then again sugar,do the same till sugar and petals ends.
  • Close the lead tightly and place the jar in to sunlight for 7-8 days.And see the magic gulkand is ready to use.
  • Take the gulkand from dry spoon,eat it  and put it into freeze after use.
Now we see how we make use of Gulkand in different recepies and  make it good for our health.

Gulkand Milkshake:
 

  • Take a glass of milk and two or three spoon of gulkand and put all in mixi jar add two table spoon of sugar and mix it for 2-3 minutes and tasty pink coloured rosy flavoured milkshake is ready.
2.RoseGulkand Coconut Laddo:

  • Take 1/4 kg of desicated coconut and add 100grms. of powdered sugar and 4 tablespoon of gulkand,mix all things together for 2 -3 minutes,as we use powdered sugar it melt with little bit of mixing.And bind the laddo's as per your wish give them shape or make small,medium or big as per your choice.
3.Rose Gulkand Lassi:
  • Take a big glass of  curd and 4 table spoon gulkand and 2 table spoon sugar put all things into mixer and mix it for two minutes your tasty,rosy Lussi is ready.
  • It gives coolness to the stomatch .
4.Rose Kulfy:

Now we see how to make rose kulfi at home:
  • Take 1/2 litre of full fat milk and boil it till it reduce to 1/4 litre add 4 tablespoon of gulkand add 1/4litre of milk cream.
  • First add milk,then 4 table spoon of gulkand mix it well and  when the milk gets cool add the full fat cream into it and fold it into milk-gulkand mixture,add 2-3 fresh finely cut rose petals if availble and  pour the mixture into kulfi moulds,let put it into freeze for 7-8 hours,after that enjoy creamy kulfi.
